Its hard to say at this point as working with the NEC we have a capacity limit of tickets we can see, therefore we advise evyone to be as early as possible, with a collective of the very best artists from the UK all attending and the incredible response we have already recived, its incredibly hard to imagine this wont sell out way in advance of the day.
Getting a tattoo at a convention can be possible depending upon the specific artist, With over 300 artist all working there will be artist offering tattoos on a walk in basis on the day however there also may also be opportunity to book in advance with your favorite artist, take a look through our announced artist and see if they have any availability for the day. Many of the artists attending have very long waiting lists due to the incredible demand for there work so they may already have clients for the day.
The beauty of the NEC is that there is designated parking at the venue for all visitors in close proximity to the tattoo convention.
With over 300 of the vest best artist working the show, there will be a combination of all styles available to see live, including, realism work, traditional, neo traditional, Avant guard work, oriental, fineline, geometric, handpoke work, plus much much more.
Tattooing will be backbone of the convention, however we want to make sure the conventuion is packed with entertainment and activities throughout to make it the most memorable tattoo convention, some entertainment includes, Live Bands, Dj’s, fire dancers, Bars, Street food, PLUS fine art showcases, live graffiti artists, tattoo artist interviews, seminars, awards, Plus much more.

How can I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets on our website in advance. On-door ticket sales will be limited and more expensive so we recommend buying your tickets online to avoid disappointment.

Are children allowed at the convention?

Under 16's can come to the event free with a ticket holding adult.

Can I get a tattoo at the event?

You are more than welcome to reach out to any of the artists attending the event directly to book in alternatively there will be some artists offering walk-ups and for that check out their social media for more information.

I’m getting tattooed do I still need a ticket?

You will need to purchase a ticket to the event if you are coming in for a booked tattoo with an artist.

Where to find artists attending the show?

We have an active instagram page that is updated with attending artists and examples of their work. There is also date page on our website with artists www.uktta.co.uk/artists/

What entertainment will be at the event?

We have a huge range of entertainment to keep you entertained all day at the event. We will have competitions running all weekend including Live Graffiti, Live Body Painting, Live music, Live fire performers and so much more. For refreshments and snacks there will be a bar and street food available.

What types of artists will be at the convention?

We have a large range of tattoo styles and artists attending the convention, including traditional, neo-traditional, blackwork, realism, and so much more. Check out our attending artist

Is there food and drink available at the convention?

We will have various different tasty street food vendors from Wings to beef, Asian inspired to greek we will have everything to suit your taste. Including a bar on-site and coffee truck.

Are there ATMs available onsite?

We do not have ATMs on site so please arrange any cash payments before attending.

Is photography allowed at the convention?

Photography is permitted at the event.

Are there accommodations for people with disabilities?

We have full wheelchair accessibility and accessible toilet.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, the venue doesn’t allow animals other than guide assistance.

Customer Parking

There will be on-street parking around the venue and multiple pay and display car parks within 5-10 minutes walk. There is no parking on site, unfortunately. Please check out the transport list to see if you can use public transport to get to the event.

Frequently Asked Questions For Artist

What time can I set up from?

You can start setting up your booth from 6pm-9pm on the Friday which is the evening before the event. Any issues with setting up at this time please contact us.

Will there be any entertainment at the event?

We have a huge range of entertainment to keep you entertained all day at the event. We will have competitions running all weekend including Live Graffiti, Live Body Painting, Live music, Live fire performers and so much more. For refreshments and snacks there will be a bar and street food available at the event.

Sizes of the booth

Each booth is 2 meters by 2 meters and the height is 2.4 meters.

What should I bring to the event?

Massage bed (if required), extensions lead, light, stencil equipment, booth decoration including tablecloth for a 6 x 2 foot trestle table.
(Limited Stencil machine on site if needed)

What comes in each booth?

Included in the booth 2 chairs, 6x2ft trestle table, Exam desk, 1 plug socket 200 watts limit, clinical waste bag and sharps bin.

Is there an after party?

After a long day of tattooing we have orgainsed an after party between 8pm-10pm on Saturday. With Sunday in mind we have chosen to end the afterparty at 10pm to allow for a fresh start the next day.

What time does the competition start?

Our competitions start from 6pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday and if you aren't entering the competitions you can continue tattooing until 8pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday.

Parking at the event

There is limited parking spaces at the venue and will be first come first served each day. Cars are not permitted to stay over night. We suggest parking in your hotel or nearby the venue and walking in.

Tickets/registrations for UKTTA Tattoo Convention are non-refundable. All sales are final. We understand that circumstances may arise preventing attendance, but due to the logistical and financial commitments involved in organising the convention, we are unable to offer refunds.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as the cancellation of the convention by the organisers, a refund or credit may be issued at the discretion of the organisers. Thank you for your understanding.
